    Hi,

I'm still playing this game, with the expansion pack, Firestorm, from time to time and I still like it very much. However there has been one single thing that has been bafcheathappens my mind for ages. I have never found a single trainer for Firestorm that would allow one simple thing, apparently, and that thing would be to reveal all the map, to completely remove the Fog of War.

I am used to play RTS games based on the Age of Empires II engine, and even WarCraft III or Empire Earth II, and all of those games plus many others (like Supreme Commander) all have the option to reveal the map completely from the start, which is very good, in my opinion, when you play against the A.I and off-line, just for the kicks.

Is there such a known trainer around or is there indeed absolutely none to this day for that purpose alone ? I think I would literally worship anyone as a God if he/she's able to do it. Anyone around wants to be a God please ?

you could just always edit the rules.ini .... set your vision radius to some maxed out # and it works all the same
no... it's NOT meant to work online in games(don't get yourself banned from the maker and waste your money) ;)

Also please DON'T ask me to email you a copy of a trainer. thanks!(your message will be ignored)

I can't believe I never thought about that!

I'm gonna have to try that! Thanks!

EDIT: I have searched for Vision and Radius within the rules.ini and I haven't found anything about a value that has a role in removing the fog of war/revealing the map.

Can you tell me the exact name of the value(s) I need to modify please?

That value is already set at "no".

Because in the in-game settings before starting a skirmish when I configure the settings there are a few boxes which I can check or un-check, and "No Fog of War" is checked.

But when I start the game I still have to explore to reveal the map. The "FOW" they refer to is the OTHER layer of FOW that goes under the "real" one. That "FOW" they talk about will cover back all the areas I have explored if I have no units present to keep the area revealed.

Roger that, thanks a lot for looking into it man.

I know that game is old but certainly not boring by any means.
