I got all the licenses 1st then sold the cars i was awarded then bought a 2nd hand Impreza then upgraded to stage 3 turbo and all the other fancy bits and bobs and started on the endurance races until i could afford the R34-GTR.
Mazda MX-5, RX-7/8 and the Miata are good cars to start off with also.
