@all; the reason it's called ProStreet.... specially the Street part... is because the cars would in real life be "Street Legal".

The online parts of this game are way better than any storyline or career mode free roam could ever be anyways, especially since cops are not a part of the races or the game for that matter. Granted is is fun to randomly race NPCs driving around... the REAL challenge of this game is online, and tuning the hell out of your rides.

For what the graphics are being started two years ago they are actually really good. Modeling cars in 3D is insanely hard to do and they did so well. My only problem is the textures on the grills sometimes get screwed up. Also if you look at the installed filed in the programs folder, there is a folder with all the car data in them, geometry and such, and the Veyron, and Gallardo and other cars are in there so i dont know what the plan is with how they are going to release them or if there is a way to tell the game to display them in the garage because thats all the collectors edition patch does. I do think it looks better than carbon though only because all of carbon looked candy coated and very fake to me, it looked nice but not as realistic. Although taking out free roam was a mistake it probably wouldnt have been that hard to make maps. Like ones you can exlpore outside of the venues that you are at for these events and since your in different states and countries it would change acordingly. idk, just saying.

@all - You all have good points, but if this game was started two years ago why didn't they simply hold back carbon and release it with all these cars now, the autosculpt was fine and all they would have had to do is add in the car tuning.

@Chingy42007 - I just went out and bought a special computer worth $16000(yes three zeros, i'm not bragging that is some serious money, i could have bought a car)
    4 graphics SLi
    8GBs of RAM
    and a 4 core processor.
    and 2 x 1 terabyte HDD, 1 master and 1 slave.
i won't go into great detail of clock speeds.

so to call it "Not-so Next-gen" wouldn't be fair.

This game still has a problem with the AI and the pixilation of some shadows, smoke and people and the fact that they didn't release the game with all the cars the left out about 8 cars or more. in carbon they only left one or two out that were in the main foloder.

the game was rushed for this christmas, they could have released it next christmas or the christmas after, but then their reputation would have gone down with people thinking that carbon was the last in the series.

*But* when you release a game like this half-heartedly your reputation sinks like a lead-balloon. they should have waited...

all i'm saying is that they should have at least released the Bugatti, and of course the rest. they should have hardend up the AI make it more aggressive. also the only time i've actually managed to total an opponents car was on a speed track, the loading screen shows a car being totally totaled, why can't you do this in the game.

at the moment i think that EA was more concerned with publishing crysis and did kind of skimp on ProStreet so i do agree that it seemed kind of half done.

btw what do you do to make enough money to spend 16K on a computer?

P.S.- no game as far as i know can utilize 4 cores so why is it necessary, ur computer sounds as if it were built for a render farm

You're right 4 cores are not necessary...hopefully in a few months games will support it.

Trust is a fragile thing. Once trust is lost, it can be impossible to recover. Those we're closest to can betray us,and total strangers can come to our rescue. In the end, most people decide to trust only themselves. It really is the simplest way to keep from getting burned.
