Since this has come up numerous times, I wanted to create a topic to clear up any misunderstandings people have with the trainer's we've released.
First of all, in order for a trainer to work, it has to be written for the specific version of the game's executable. Some games, like this one, have separate executables for both DX9 and DX10 and also 32-bit and 64-bit. On top of that, they have released multiple updates since the original version. Also throw in a separate, completely different SEA (Southeast Asia) version and you can see why it can get so confusing.
The first thing you need to do if you're having problems is to CHECK THE VERSION OF THE GAME YOU'RE RUNNING.
Go to your hellgate install folder and the SP_x86 folder. You can right click on the exe files, either:
hellgate_sp_dx9_x86
or
hellgate_sp_dx10_x86
and choose properties. Go to the details tab and check the file version.
Next, download the version of the trainer that matches your game version as follows:
1.10.xx.xxxx (ORIGINAL VER) DX9:
Link1.10.xx.xxxx (ORIGINAL VER) DX10:
Link1.40.25.4015 (PATCH 0) DX9:
Link1.40.25.4015 (PATCH 0) DX10:
Link1.43.25.4015 DX9:
Link1.43.25.4015 DX10:
Link1.35.44.4020 DX9 (PATCH 0.6):
Link1.35.44.4020 DX10 (PATCH 0.6):
Link1.35.44.4020 DX10 VISTA SP1 (PATCH 0.6):
Link1.18074.70.4256 DX9 (PATCH 1.2):
Link1.18074.70.4256 DX9 VISTA SP1 (PATCH 1.2):
Link1.18074.70.4256 DX10 VISTA SP1 (PATCH 1.2):
LinkIf your version is something like 1.37.xx.xxxx then this is the SEA version and is not compatible with any known trainers. Also, if you're running the 64-bit version of the executables, there are also no known trainers for these versions. You can run the game using the 32-bit executables and the trainers will work fine on a 64-bit OS.
Also note that these are all SINGLE PLAYER version numbers. There have been several patches for multiplayer released (0.5, 0.6) but they do NOT change the single player files.
