I am having the same issue. Versions are correct. No antivirus or firewall up and running. Downloaded quite a few times. No success.
OS: Fresh install of XP sp2 fully patched

Im also having the same problem.. its not the first time either. After downloading the newest patch for FA i got the updated trainer and carried on as normal.. worked fine a few times then when i came to play recently it did the "Activated.. Deactivated" s***..
Downloaded the trainer a few times blah blah blah.. i also tried starting tht trainer after the game loaded and nothing. but i did notice its saying Key F12 is pressed in the bottom corner of the trainer. and i know its not.
Hope this can be sorted.

So it worked fine a few times and now it's having trouble? Obviously nothing on the trainer changed from the last time you used it, so something on your system must have. It's probably some sort of incompatibility with some other third party program or driver. There's no way for us to know what it is in order to 'sort' it.

Do you by any chance have any antivirus software enabled?
