Hello first off thank you to anyone who has taken the time to read this post even if they are unable to assist on the manner.
The problem i am having is whenever i go to do a mission with the trainer active the game goes all the way up to the screen where it says intransit or aka loading and then it brutally crash's. The typical end program does not work i have to go to task manager and forcefully end the .exe or else if remains there and slowly drains more CPU till entire system freeze.
To save everyone the trouble of asking and suggesting i have tried every possible path on the guide about trainer problems which leaves me to basicly think the main problem that is causing the crash's is due to the game being a direct2drive download. Is there anyone that knows a possible fix to this problem? PS: I have emailed chris with this problem as well but i always find it best to get as much infomation from as many differnt locations as possible.

I am having the same problem, and I have the retail version, so I can't be just the fact that you have a d2d version. Have tried everything that the troubleshooting guide suggests as well as some other stuff, but still no go

Retail version here as well. Patched. Same error. Only when I have enabled the trainer.
I have not even tried using the cheat codes and modifying the user file.
Windows XP if that matters.

Have you guys tried using the no-cd fix?

Thanks for the suggestion PWizard,
I just downloaded a no-cd patch from gamecopyworld. The no-cd works, but I still get the crash when I enable the trainer.
rld-scfa.7z was the archive file if that matters or means anything.
Although, I do see that this is the 1.0 no-cd. I don't seem to be able to find a no-cd for the patched version of the game. Not sure if that matters or not.

Yeh, trainer and game version much match up exactly. We have trainers for both versions.

Well, I have the patched version of the game, just unable to find a patched no-cd.
So, if I remove the no-cd fix, I still crash with the patched version of the game, with the patched version of the trainer.
I am rather new to Cheathappens ... are there no-cd files locally that I can download, or do I just get them the way I always have?
I really don't want to have to re-install to get the non-patched version of the game and try the non-patched trainer.
