as i mentioned in the read-me this game actively checks for changes in the memory and also changes in the game code itself, which unfortunately makes it a pain for the trainer maker (myself). there are likely ways to "crack" the game or the launcher so that they don't do this, but then we run into the problem of EULA and messing around with the game's protections, etc. which the software companies frown upon.

regarding whether the health cheat works or not, i suppose i need a little more information (such as what level you were on, what killed you, etc.) as i played the game extensively and did not die. the only time i needed to reset the health (using numpad 2) was between cutscenes or between loading new scenes. occasionally i would see that the screen was getting pinkish (taking damage) and i would hit numpad 2 again in those cases and i would heal right up instantly and then be invincible again. i have yet to crash the game or be caught and it works perfectly for me and my system.

the way the trainer works is that it injects code into the game for about 3 milliseconds or so which "catches" the address of the health for kane. then the trainer actively writes to that address. if the address changes (cutscenes, etc.) then the trainer will be writing to the old address and you have to press numpad 2 to "update" it. if the scanner detects the injected code or the trainer writes to an address that is no longer used as health and something else needs that address it is possible that the game will crash.

the game doesn't allow you to attach and breakpoint with a debugger in the normal fashion. this is just a hard game to work with in terms of hacking and keeping things legal, which is probably why you haven't seen many cheats for it. i am not saying it can't be done, i am just saying that to do it is a pain and also that to do it and have many many options you would probably have to kill the scanner, which we choose not to do for legal reasons.

trainer seems to work ok except in the tunnel where i get shot by the snipers every time :P
unlimited ammo would be cool if it is possable
