First of all, I really keen to play this game, but it's hard to believe this game lags very well indeed.
I have Intel Core 2 Duo E6320, Realtek HD onboard, 2GB RAM, Geforce 8800GTS 320MB and fresh installed of Windows Vista Business 32-bit with no update installed, and it feels not well again Crysis.
Is there anything wrong with my computer specification? Or perhaps my system need to be updated? I use Forceware 163.71

I am experiencing similar lags as well. I am using medium setting on the game with Intel Core Duo 2 Extreme 6800, 2GB RAM and a 1GB Nvdia 7950 card. Seems strange that this causes problems.

Maximum settings (except AA, I hate AA) on a Core2Duo-E6750 and 8800GTS640MB-OC2 + 3GB-RAM.
Basically, Vista sucks... a lot. I mean who in their right mind would make/use an OS that actually slows down your PC's hardware? Go back to XP, at least until Vista's SP1 gets released or something.
That is all.

When installing I got message that some important update is missing. Do anyone who can run Crysis smoothly, not experience this? If so, maybe I must do windows update first. I am also wondering if anyone having similar rigs as me experiences lags too? Btw I have update the Forceware to 163.75 after that lags in medium settings are less than before, but still disturbing. I also wonder that anyone who can play smoothly is all using XP?

Your problem is definitely Windows Vista. I had the same issues until I reformatted my PC with Windows XP. As soon as I reinstalled on XP, problems were gone. It is this way with a lot of games. Bioshock, Hellgate: London, and even Clive Barker's Jericho play way better on my PC with XP versus Vista.

Thank you. I will try it on XP. Hey if anyone has good experience with Vista while playing Crysis, you should share here. Don't forget to include your PC specification OK.

Well i have played this game with 4x AA, 1024*768, and everything on very high without any noticeable lag, sometimes there is a little drop in framerate but to fix this i just have to go 2x AA.
Hardware specs:
Processor : AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ @ 2600 MHz Physical Memory : 4096 MB (4 x 1024 DDR2-SDRAM ) Video Card : Nvidia Corp NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTS Operating System : Windows (TM) Vista Ultimate Professional 64x DirectX : Version 10.00
Ps. I am really looking forward to when the 64x trainer for this game comes out, hope one of you trainer makers gets a new OS soon :P
