I have not been able to get this or any other trainer on this website (bioshock) to work. When I start the trainer and then game (or game then trainer in case of bioshock) the game works fine but the trainer freezes and I hear activated repeated like a broken record.
So I attempted to run both the game and the trainer in compatability mode XP Sp1 as well as both in as administrator mode and this fixed the above problem and both the game and trainer load, however when I press f1 I do not hear activated and the cheats do not work in game.
I DO NOT have an F lock key and YES my num lock key is activated, I'm not a moron and ovious soulutions have been tried. I have disabled my Anti Virus program AVG as well.

That's very odd. You most definitely should run the trainers as Administrator but compatibility mode I would not use in these cases. With Bioshock, many people have had luck running the trainer as soon as the splash screen appears. You should then be able to activate it successfully. With WiC, you should be able to run the trainer first, then F1 at the menu to hear activated. There's several things that could cause an issue or to not hear activated. You may have something installed that's blocking the trainer from attaching to the game. Antivirus, antispyware, Vista permissions, etc. The trainer may not be recognizing your game. Are you running it from the HD using the standard shortcut or from an autorun menu on the CD? Always run it from the HD and may work better with the trainer in the same folder.
Lastly, I would recommend trying the no-cd fixes for both games and see if you have any better luck. The game's copy protection might be getting in the way of the trainer attaching to it.

For bioshock I have tried running it right during the splash screen several times and I always get the same thing, a broken record of sound "activated" repeating so fast that you can only hear "act...act..act..act...".
The same thing with the WiC trainer untill I run it in compatablility mode for XP SP2. I did try and run the WiC trainer last night after starting the game, the trainer bugs out like above and in the "status" bar at the botton it say Key 12 pressed. I did however get it to kinda work like this last night, I entered the game and had all the cheats activated automatically all the while the trainer kept repeating activated over and over (very annoying).
At first I thought it might be a stuck key issue however this doesn't appear to be the case for the f1 key because the bioshock trainer does the same thing and does not require you to press the F1 key. It also could not be a stuck numpad key beacuse this reply would be filled with the repeating key as I typed it and it also does the same thing when the numlock key is turned off.
I truely feel this is a VISTA issue because i've had nothing but problems with VISTA. Any ideas how you think I could get it running, the no cd patch thing did not work BTW.
