Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Message Board  

I've just played the demo of this game because i'm from Europe and i don't have the original game yet.

The graphics on this game is great,story is applyabble and for me it doesn't matter if someone thinks that is worser than any previous Call of Duty games. I've got TWO words for this game:
ULTRA-AWESOME!!

Awesome, sure. But you always run in team, that shoots all enemies before ya. So ... no real fun at all.

theres only 1 thing i hate with CoD4 at the moment and that the never ending baddies that spawn out of no where. it happened in CoD2 and its happening again, you must charge through the levels as the enemies will just keep respawning until you move the next save point.

it doesnt allow you to actualy use tactics such as taking cover, assessing the situation, then finding your targets and taking them down.

I personally think the gameplay sucks. Trying to play the demo but the f'n thing does not tell you how to get a lockon with the stinken rocket launcher, all the time the butthead commander is telling you to blow up the tanks. I looked every freeken where in game and at the ****ty website that Activison put up, no help anywhere.
Can someone Please post the key command to lockon during the firefight on the second floor. Am highly upset with the lack of information on this damn game as far as gameplay is.

The reason they are spawning is because to don't stay with your squad. That is a built in feature which makes it harder on the Rambo style gamers.

If you get too far away from your squad or your objectives, it will spawn in ememies. If you stay close to your squad, it won't do that.

MP is a joke. SP is awesome, so much fun.

to lock onto the tanks with the rocket launcher, you need to right click and look at the tanks, the green square will auto seek and you will get a tone, fire once per tank, there are 3 or 4 if i recall.

job done, keep hiding against the small unit in the middle of the roof so the guys on the over pass don't cheese-wire you in cross fire!!

no you are wrong, they enemies will consistentily spawn if you STAY with your squad, if you and your squad dont move, enemies will just keep spawning. to stop that from happening as in CoD2 you have to rambo in order to stop the enemies from spawning constantly.

seriously, how can 1 small tool shed (about the size of 4 outhouses) hold ~100 corpses? lets not forget that our squad mates have inf ammo and you are with a tank that has inf ammo, i sat with my sqaud on part of a level with the tank and we in the one spot for 5mins until i was able to make a break for a house which when i entered had 50 corpses at just 1 door way and the at the window was 20 corpses all stacked close to each other from being sniped by me.
