Caliber I've read your post on your tests regarding the skills option, I too have been able to add more skills using the same conditions you outlined. My question is have you actually tried to add those skills to the skill icon? I've been able to add bunch of skills using the option the skills increasing by 5 at a time. So I leveled up to 50 using the experience option and proceeded to add skills so I can max out all the skills. I kept adding skills and using them while keeping the amount of skills below 99 so I can save properly. This is when I ran into trouble, although I was able to add skills, the game seems to have some kind of hard limit on the amount of skills that can be added to skills. I was able to max out a number of of the skills but not all, even when I had 80 or more skill points the amount would suddenly reduce by large amounts and then to nothing instead of reducing by one. For example I had 100 skills, the skill would reduce to 50 then 25 then nothing, and you could add no more skills. So I was wondering if you could go back and repeat your tests but this time try spending the skill points and see if you can max out every single skill.

i completely levelled up three different types of characters, saving them in the second area (not the first tunnels, but the covent area) and reloaded them without problems. the only problem i ran into is the game not giving you any more XP after you get too high. to fix that, i made the newest trainer which allows you to level back DOWN and reduce your XP DOWN and then you can start over again killing and getting more XP and levelling up which in turn gives you more skills and attributes points if you ran out of them-

yes and save them , etc.
