or, could we get a trainer that looks for the the 64bit version aswell? maybe it still can work?
Sadly, its not that simple, Cal needs a x64 OS to be able to code the trainers to work with x64,
trainers work by intercepting certain memory strings and changing them and resaving them, or just plain stopping them, but those strings are in different locations after every patch (not always but almost certainly 99% of them) thats why a trainer only works with some specific versions of a game, and the same goes for x86 (32-bit) to x64 (64-bit) the memory strings the trainer looks to intercept arnt what you want to intercept or just not there, which could cause a crash or whatnot, therefor Cal needs a 64-bit OS to find those string locations and develop trainers to attack those specific places, but currently they dont have any 64 bit comp... which means, no trainers for us with 64-bit as of yet...
PS sorry for the long post, boring read for most probably :P
Ummmm, with the inexpensive pricing of 64 bit hardware (i.e. Intel and AMD) why are you all not producing 64 bit trainers?
I don't think I will renew my membership if you all do not plan on going into the 64 bit gaming anytime soon, as that I ONLY run 64 bit systems, even for my clients I only spec 64 bit. I won't go into why 64 bit systems are much better than 32 bit.
A company offering services such as yours, would be shooting themselve's in the foot if they failed to catch up with their customers that prefer to use the better technologie's out their.
Don't take offense to it, it's that I run my company different, I EMBRACE new technologies, and I support my older systems out their running 32 bit. I see those clients as a potential new revenue source with upgrades, especially since I havn't sold a 32bit version of Windows in over 3 years.
Just my 2 cents
A big yes !!!!! to your post. I found that the game plays 100% better in 64bit Vista than the 32bit Vista. I have been playing for days without any slow downs freezes or crashes. The game was always freezing or crashing all the time in Vista 32bit.
I have found that all my game are playing better in Vista 64bit. I will never go back to 32bit Vista. My son was playing smicity societies on a 32bit vista and having problems. I build a new computer with vista 64bit and did some hotfixes and he is playing with no problems.

You are ofcourse entitled to your own opinion, but that doesn't mean CH has to share your views.
If they say they don't have time/resources to devulge further into 64-bit systems, I for one believe them.
They have earned my trust by delievering quality trainers the same day, just a few hours after a game is released.
Most games that install a different exe for 64-bit are possible to run in 32-bit mode anyways, so whats the problem? let them run their own company... I'm sure they know what they are doing.
