Here's the readme on the options:

Launch the trainer first, then launch the Game and then Press F1 at the Main Menu.
Listen for "Activated".

Press desired option key



NOTE: YOU MUST ACTIVATE THE TRAINER AT THE MAIN MENU TO AVOID CRASHES!

Options

Numpad 1: Health-
Numpad 2: Power-
Numpad 3: Experience-
Numpad 4: Attributes-
Numpad 5: Skills-
Numpad 6: Palladium-

NOTES*
-------

Numpad 1: Health- Locks your health so that attacks do not affect you. May not work
in all instances.

Numpad 2: Power- Locks your power Orb so that you can attack with power items.

Numpad 3: Experience- Adds Experience. You must first kill something to get at least
1 experience point normally to make this work correctly. Also, you may not
level up until you kill something if you have passed the level amount.

Numpad 4: Attributes- Adds attributes points. You might need to have at least 1
attribute point for this to work correctly.

Numpad 5: Skills- Adds skill points. You might need to have at least 1
skill point for this to work correctly.

Numpad 6: Palladium- Adds Palladium. You might need to have at least 1
palladium piece for this to work correctly.

So I just tried the trainer (thanks guys!), and the XP counter seems not to be working correctly. I ended up with 29,662/8,223 XP, so while it's ratcheting up my XP count, it's not triggering the levelup process. Am I missing something?

so should i create a charactor save it then start to use the trainer or can i use the trainer from the creation stage

for XP, as stated in the readme you must actually kill something to activate the level up process.

it should not matter if you use the trainer from the start with creation of character or later if you already have a character.
