Thanks for the suggestions. About the 1.1a trainer. You mentioned that it should say it on the trainer graphics? Well I downloaded the 1.1a trainer twice already and when I run it the version always says 1.1 without the a.

Ok I do not know what happened but I thought I tried to download the 1.1a trainer from your site one more time and guess what this time it works because the trainer graphics also says 1.1a. Go figure. Anyway thanks a lot for everyone's help and suggestions.

I finally got it to work. I had to run the trainer after running the game, as Chris suggested... and also made sure that Num Lock was on.
