when i type in the new lines for the cheats and go to save them . i get an error message that i can't save .i hav e windows vista .any help would be nice thanks.

Right click the file you want to edit, and go to properties. Make sure the file is not read-only. Then you can try again.

You can also try running Notepad as Administrator before you open the file.

can not get vista to let me change notebook says it's part od windows and i can't change it

You can't right click and Run as Administrator on it?

it keeps saying that the path and file name are the same and will not let me save.

ok i have vista and the same problem sometimes, when you save as, delete the name it gives you, (this is what it gives you> *,txt) ok then just write another (remember to delete *,txt ok)

when i save as 2 things come up--file name and underneath that--save as type which has text documents (*.txt
but you can not highlite it to delete it or write in another name when you click on the arrow in save as type you get all files and that does nothing.oh and i have not thanked you for trying to help i appriciate it thanks, i hate this vista at times
