Tower of Swallow?
Bad porn flick warning DD
LOL !!!
Swallow ... it's a bird ...
Judging by comments on the official forum and other sites, it's primarily Vista users that are experiencing repeated crashes. On XP, I only experienced crashes using the previous set of beta nVidia drivers. Once I installed the latest ones I never had another crash (have since finished the game).
The biggest problem is the load and save times. Unfortunately that's a legacy of Bioware's Aurora engine, so I doubt we'll see much improvement. I'm not sure why they chose that engine to be honest - it is so old and outdated now and they essentially had to reprogram half of it anyway when they ripped out the OGL graphics code and replaced it with DirectX.
As to Vista problems, I haven't experienced any problems so far (knock on wood), not one crash. The Aurora engine works for what its worth in the sense of being able to create a working RPG, though it could do with a complete overhaul. Then again, there are rumors patch 1.2 for The Witcher will fix many of the Vista and save issues. Let's hope for the best

The "fix" they are implementing to resolve load time issues is an option to disable autosaves. While this will certainly speed things up (the autosave usually takes longer than the level load), it's not exactly a great option for people having repeated crashes.
As for the crashes themselves, I guess it's a case of wait and see.
