I'm afraid we can't do much to alter the way controls are mapped in the game. This is probably some issue created by the porting of the game from a console. You should probably bring this to the attention of the game publishers.

so is there no way to make a program that will run in the background of the game making lmb or rmb bindable

Not that I know of.

Why would you want your mouse to move your character in an FPS? nuts.

Hi

There is a way to bind mouse buttons to another action....just look in Documentsandsettings\yourusername\aplicationdata\codemasters bla bla bla, and you'll find a file "game.cfg".Open it with notepad (make a backup first, just in case)and near to the end you'll find the mouse and kb. bindings.Actions begining with MENU are for menu keys, with Racer for vehicles and with WALK for character.

For ex. to bind RMB to walk forward just add a line, in MOUSE section, like this: "Walk.PC_Up.0 = But2" and you are done....

Just in case game will try to modify the file , make it readonly.

ya, i always use the right mouse button to move forward, but it won't friggin let me! Is there any way to edit some kind of configuration file to manually force it to work?
(I tried mit789's idea, but I can't find the file he mentioned. it might be somewhere else, because I'm using vista...)
