i understand having the wait period for game trainers, but whats the deal with a demo trainer having a waiting period, especially since the game is coming in a matter of days.

pwiz wanted it to be for unlimited members only until we worked out the kinks so it wouldn't be spread all over the internet with errors. he stated he would be opening it up for download by all members today i think, as well as spreading it around the internet ourselves.
thanks again for the members who helped test it for us. it seems to be stable now so pwiz will likely post it for all members shortly-
now, when the retail hits, for sure it will be for unlimited members only for a period of time (retail trainer version).
best, Cal

Heya...
I ran into a couple problems with saving progress after using the trainer. We're running a XP 64 bit system. In game the trainer works like a charm. When you go to exit the game and it 'saves' the character it reverts back to whatever point you were at when you first used the trainer.
Now this isn't a BIG problem a friend of mine came home from school for the weekend and we fiddled around with the game and the trainers on Friday and Saturday. Nothing she could do (she a coder monkey too) could get the game to save at the point you were at in the game it kept reverting back. Quite by accident we killed the trainer process and exited the game. When we loaded up the game again and went into the character selection our most recent attempt at getting it to save right worked.
We quickly went in and made 1 character from each of the classes ran them thru level 5 used the trained in like overkill mode and just boosted all the cash and skill and attrib points thru the roof... Alt-Tabbed out shut the trainer down and exited to the main menu.... all the Character's we made saved correctly.
We only tested options 4, 5 and 6, since those are the only parts of the trainer I was interested in. The only one I REALLY wanted working after it not saving properly was the cash one so I could experiment with the crafting more. Anyway... that's a quick fix work around for anyone else having problems running the demo with the trainer on a XP 64 bit system.
Cal and Wiz... I'd like to know if you guys plan on making the retail trainer XP 64 bit friendly? I know this is kinda a blackmail thing, but I'd actually considering switching to a unlimited account versus the free one I got now, if you did.
Anyway... Nice job on the trainer Cal.

@BabyyTazzy
For me the trainer works fine and it saves right with wall manipulated values.
But you have to watch out that you dont give your character more then 999 Atribute points at each atribute and also not more then 999 free atribute points and not more then 99 Skill points, because if you do the game could not save correctly. You can add as much money you want.

Waddup PWiz and Cal are you guys going to have the trainer ready today? I am just sitting here in the house waiting for the UPS man to finally deliver my copy of HGL
I am looking forward to the single-player component of the game first so that I can get first hand knowledge of the story and a look at the in-game cinematics.
I kinda feel like the singer Brandy when she sanged "Sittin Up in my Room".......
Ho hum oh well the wait is now killing me.........
