    wondering what everyones thoughts are on the demo.

    i have always been a fan of call of duty, never played CoD 3 as i dont think FPS on consoles are ever that good, but personally i feel, although others are expecting another modern day war failure like Battlefield and Ghost Recon tried to push for, this one will succeed and be the only one worthy of modern day war genre.
    I really enjoyed the demo, slight odd bugs i found but nothing that destroyed the aspect of play, and it kept its feeling as a call of duty franchise game.

    I am huge on FPS genre games (BF2142 ranked #57 in world with rc10racer) and after playing this demo, I really think this game is going to far surpass anything and everything thrown into this catagory of game for along time to come. I beta tested QW:ET, FrontLines Feul of War, Crysis, Bf2142 and many others and non can compare to the graphics and reality type of play the COD4 seems to have. I very much look forward to this release.

    Found it rather hard to complete on veteran but a very good demo. Despite everyone complaining about CoD's move to modern warfare, i think its for the best because personally im getting bored of ww2, i think ive fought it myself by now.

    coming from BF2 i really look forward to COD4 my hope is that the game will be supported by activision and IW. EA really dropped the ball with BF2 which make me less likely to buy crysis when it comes's out

    i thought that even though the 360 demo was only online it was a better experience then the PC singleplayer one. I wanna know if you can use perks in singleplayer though...

    Crysis isn't made by EA you numpty, They are just the publisher.

    Anywhoo, the COD4 Demo really impressed me aswell, I will certainly be getting it.

    Neither is BF2 ^^
    So the only thing they have in common is the publisher.

    Anyhoo, back on-topic;
    CoD4 seems to be really great, as it actually preserves the good feeling of the earlier CoD's, without having that "ugly" outdated Q3 graphics and feeling about it.
    It feels just as tactical and strategic as it should be, not just a gun-'n'-run game. (Even though it might be possible to play it that way too, haven't tried - 'cause I find it extremely boring :P MOHAA gives me the shivers...)
    Fingers crossed for a neat game, the demo was truly impressive!
