mmmm - im trying to think how best to put this.
manual is kinda a tough skill to pick up in this game for the first time - but believe me: once you got it nailed, you'll be doin it all the time.
best way i learned was to get a good push off, ollie and hold your stick kinda half way up - you should land again in manual and roll for a bit: this is way kool and better if tryed on a hill.
also - if you go back to the skate park at the start of the game: so of the pro's there teach you more tricks - including manual. the manual lesson there is kinda tough at first but practise makes it worth while.
once you got manual nailed - you can link all your moves together for some sick skate runs...............or try manual down a hill, aim for a car coming the opposite direction and see how many bones you can bust - my record so far is 8 bones.
