Half-Life 2: Episode Two Message Board  

Hi, im stuck because i dont know what to do. im at a point where there is 2 of them BIG ant things, dont know exact names and there is 3 of the things that stomp the ground to keep the little ant things away. The save is called Freeman Pontifex. anyway i have killed the 2 big ants and now i dont kno where to go and the alien that heals people is just standing where we came in to this area. Anybody got past this? my previous save takes me back miles for some reason.

You don't see a elevator crane? should be a generator standing on the ground near it... bring him there so he can open the gate for you.

yea i do see it all but the healing alien who powers the generator wont move.

hmm maybe glitch...try restarting that section

tnx, yea i had to restart. Game completed , also just completed portal

i'm stuck there too i've tried restarting the section and it still gets stuck.

Go up the ladder, on top of the elevator, you'll see a small "door" which is blocked by at steel bar, use the gravity gun the remove that steel bar, jump inside the elevator, press the button, it will go down so the chick and the alien can get inside.

they won't follow me after the second thumper.
