Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War - Soulstorm Message Board  

First of all i'll say hi as im new to this site

Favourite marine 'Chapter' Grey Knights but I do like Deathwatch kill teams (soon to be released as Ordo Xenos me thinks) But legion of the damned are good fun too (i want v4 rules asap for these)

Favourite race... 'Nids are nasty, but my favourite are Necrons as everyone seems to fear them and they are not full of cheesy characters n magic etc, simple but massively effective (NB I do not consider the we'll be back rule as cheesy, it adds character)

Favourite Character... Captain Invictus or marnius calgar or Cassius... guess I like Ultramarines too then

I have a blood angels army, but with the new 'codex' I feel they have been utterly ruined. It was always fun to have a random number of death company (thus random number of trrops left) and the random movement thing too was fun, made the games unpredictable & thus fun, but now they have been ruined, not to mention this combat squad thing

Final poll questions, I would say chaos are the ultimate army in 40K (in terms of being hard) but I guess any army could be deemed 'the hardest' if the player picks a decent army to field and plays them to full advantage, Eldar are a pain in the butt, there is no denying they can be hard as well tho

I think a good story line for DoW to follow would be the Battle For Macragge... what better way to get 'nids into the game (and kill off the now tiresome bloodraven)

PS I used an army painter to get rid of blood ravens and now have Ultramarines with the proper baners etc in the game (got a better result than the in game version which didnt let me tweak the shoulder pads)

I'm a dedicated "Dark Angels" fan... Their histiry and colorscheme is superb

Well I've got to go with DARK ANGELS as my favourite chapter, and ASMODAI INTERROGATOR CHAPLIN as my favourite character (even his painted minature looks cool).

Favourite race is gona be TYRANIDS, for their unwavering need to kill all, simply put.

As for the next Warhammer installment it could only be a hive invasion of yet another new planet.

Favorite Space Marine Ch.:
Got to go with the Raven Guard.
The Raven Guard was decimated by Horus’s forces, when they attacked Horus’s HQ
They regrouped and fought on, even now they are known for having some of the oldest equipment in they field, and they still kick ass. (a close second are the Blood Angles Death Co.)

Favorite Race & Character:
Imperial Guard… Kaserkin. They are beyond zealot status.

Ultimate Army:
Space Marines. Adapt and Overcome.

Next Warhammer story:
A return to SpaceHulk would be nice, a Horus based story, or being able to select your Race and Chapter

Deathwatch just because of their charge to protect humanity against ancient threats. Seems kinda cool.

Favourite char would be Angron. Chaos Marines, especially World Eaters, are just too badass.
