ok guy's... it finally works!!!
found a dude on another game forum who had the same problem as i had, and he gave me a tip to change my default keyboard language to either English (uk) or English (united states).
And that worked!! wooohoo
So in case others have this problem, the above is the solution

dude .me 2 hav da same prob, wen i reach level 3 tokyo,with combos of spideyn nd doc ock ,the game crashes, me 2 hav re-instald several times ,bt it doesnt work; an error report comes regarding game.exe. plz tell me how u hav changed the keyboard language with detailed steps.

now da problem is not with da game, bt itz with da large fantoms.
when i researched a l0ot i found that when i stay away from them or do not respond 2 their actions,the game doesnt crash. so herz da trick instead of slamming da fantoms by "6",punch or kick them by using"4". i tried it again and again and now ders no problem. that too, this problem is only with the large fantoms of levels in tokyo. theres no problem of slamming fantoms in other levels othr dan tokyo.


wen i askd experts ,dey said it has got 2 b some problem with the game files of fantoms in level tokyo.so jst tryb dis trick and evrytin will b fine.......

also, if the game crashes at any situation in any other levels 2, try dis trick

evry body plz try dis out...............ITZ WORKIN!!!!!!!!

i dont know but i had this problem with another game ,but when i installed the windows 7 i didnt have that problem .

Guyzzzzz!!!!!I have the same problem.....but this game crashes sometime when only the game start in tokyo level.If not then it crashes on the same level after beating all fantoms....help...

mine works fine nothing bad nothing too good cep tht i have everything and everyone heh heh heh but uhh i think i ever got that message well Pwizard could definetly help he's a role model

hi casinova and Everyone there.I'm new member. I have a problem with spiderman friend or foe. I have passed level three now i'm in level 4 Tokyo,Japan.But it crash while fighting. I have no idea about that. Before in level 3 i meet that then i just run and didn't fight until i see the boss then level 3 is ok. Maybe it debug with Microsoft visual studio 2008 because while crash it appears a screen "just in time debugger" in the Microsoft visual studio 2008.

Need help.
