I am using the English version of the game btw. Same error with and without the nocd .exe when pressing the numpad 1-4 keys.

PWizard, the video problem looks very much like a codec issue. The game loads ffdshow for me when playing the vids which I find very odd, I can only assume the game is using divx/xvid videos and is using system decoders rather than any built directly into the game. They don't have to pay licencing fees that way I would guess.

Whats the error message? Perhaps that will help us in troubleshooting. I wonder if it's the 'activated' sound that might be causing the crash. If the sound engine is bugged a bit then it could be it. Not sure if maybe you can disable the sound completely (either on windows or the game) and see if it makes a difference.

TPolygonNode.SetAlpha fault: alpha=5005

...is generally the message but the end numbers are different depending on the numpad key pressed. I am reinstalling the game now as I tried to edit the settings.lua and it kills the game, bloody thing is forced to 1024x768 and if you try change it the settings become corrupt. This game was definately released too soon.

It's working for me now, don't know why but if i activate anything other then shields i am able to play with the trainer.

Damn game doesn't handle resolutions properly, this game definately hasn't been QA tested for long.

excellent find chodax.. this was exactly my problem. Now that I got the game to run finally, I am also getting the error you reported but only on the shields option. I can activate numpad 2-4 with no problems but crash when I activate numpad 1. I've sent my info over to Cal so hopefully he can recreate and address. Thanks to everyone that has provided feedback. Hopefully we'll get this nailed down soon.

Ok guys I have cracked it and got the trainer working with 1.0.2 no-cd .exe by switching my desktop resolution to 1024x768 and not skipping any ingame videos. The game doesn't handle the video skips well at all. Also it doesn't handle resoltions well on nvidia cards, it perma crashes at 1680x1050 with the trainer enabled but works at 1024x768. This looks like a problem with the game as the trainer is working 100% for me now at 1024x768.

Give the desktop resolution change a try and see if it works for you.
