i can not get this to work.i download it to the right folder but i get an error message that it will not load when i go into the game.i was using the trn.for this game and i could not advance past the free clinic because i could not pick up lot 192 i got a message that i had enough of this item. so now i can not advance in the game.i tried playing without the trn. on but it still gave me the same message.that's why i wanted to install the save game any help would be great thanks

Not sure of your problem. I downloaded the savegames here:

...put them in the right folder with my other Bioshock saves and they loaded up with no problem. I have the Steam version but it probably doesn't make any difference.

what about the trainer. if i do not use it i still can't advance

I haven't played that far into the game so I really don't know. All I know is that the savegames plus not using the trainer in that area should get you past the problem. Perhaps someone else can provide more info.

i have windows vista exactly what folder do i download the saves in and i appreciate all your help. i know i must sound like a pain in the a___

Hello there, ed. The Bioshock savegame folder should be saved in your "My Documents" folder, under "Bioshock." Now, in the "Bioshock" folder, there'll be another folder called "Saved Games." You want to put the saved game file that you downloaded in that folder. Write down the name of the saved game that you downloaded, because it has a date attached to it. Once that's done, head in game and go to "load" and look for the date that was on the saved game file, and that should be the one.

PS: In regards to your question about using the trainer, make sure you don't use the 3rd option, "numpad 3" before you pick up lot 192, and also when you are on Point Prometheus.
