well, im only 14, have no money, and wish i had an 8800 version of my card.
On another note - when I was 14 my computer made a nice doorstop so I don't think you're doing too badly Now I'm 18 and got a fairly nice PC. (4600, 8800gts and 2GB ram) Things can only get better
Vista and DX10 support legacy (Read: DX9) cards, just some bits are disabled or handled slowly by software. Of course, the kid SAID he was running in DX9 mode so that's somewhat moot anyway.

I agree 100%...with you...Ive only got an AMD Athlon XP 1800=1.53,overclocked to 1.63,nvidia 6800 GT card.driver 162.18,creative X-fi X-treme gamer.driver 101.18,2 gig memory,DX9,Windows XP pro,settings in game for video card = med,sound card = max.......I hope this helps.....Definitely uninstall drivers Before installing new......
