this is confusing me. so there isnt missingno anymore? so now u cant just go to the old guy in viridian city and have him show u how to catch a pokemon then go to cinnabar swim on coast line, dont catch pokemon u run into and get 100 of sixth item? not possible anymore? cus i went back to old guy and he wasnt there. then after i beat blaine he was there i did the thing and went to cinnabar and swam on coast line and no pokemon pop up yet. so it isnt possible to do this on yellow anymore?

Well why wouldn't it be working now? its not like it would fix itself. My guess is you're not doing it quite right.

blue and red version was the only games to have this mistake...the error was corrected before it was realsed... sorry dude
or thats what i think cause it happened to me too
