When using the mega trainer, (ALT+TAB) when running it bioshock goes into a window and I can see about 1/3 of the desktop on the rhs. I am using widescreen option max res, even when res lowered it still does this.I am unable to get back to widescreen, any suggestions?

    TIA

ALT-TAB doesn't work really good with that game, best is to use the windowed option

    1 launch game

2 change graphic option to a lower res and select windowed option

3 click on the windows desktop or use alt+tab to get back @ windows

    4 launch trainer

5 change graphic option back to fullscreen/fullrez

    Cheers

You can also press ALT+ENTER to switch between windowed and full screen mode in the game.

found a solution, when the bioshock game first runs and you see the small windows saying bioshock, run the trainer as an admin this saves the alt tab and trainer still works ok

    BTW great trainer

Indeed, on occasion, bioshock.exe has even stopped running on going back to native resolution from windowed mode.

Sometimes when going back from say 1280x800 windowed to 1920x1200 fullscreen (Vista, DX10), the game puts 0.25 inch black bars at the top and bottom.

I find that if I first go to fullscreen at the lower resolution, then afterward bump the resolution back to 1920x1200, the black bars disappear and everything works the way it should.

    Hi all

Hummm I didn't know that ALT + ENTER was windowing the game ... I'll have to try when I'll get my copy.

By the way, I've downloaded the trainer ... does the background picture have to be so low quality ? Because there're pixels everywhere ...

Maybe it's the fault of the BMP background limit (yup within the TMK you can only import BMP files for the BG image)

kind of off topic but the graphic in the trainer is actually a compressed .jpeg to save size. a bmp file would actually have more detail and be less pixelated but use much more memory. not many people gonna be looking at the trainer graphics for long with a game like bioshock..hehe

we do not use any kind of trainer making kit to do our trainers. they are 100% custom coded. we have internal links to instructions, the website, a customizer function for making your own hotkeys, troubleshooting link, and .dll injection as well as sometimes having to kill the game's protections so that the trainer can write to the game itself. you could not do many of the options with a trainer maker kit, although that tool is nice for certain users to use for personal training of certain types of games.

    best,
    Cal
