he does and i think it is in the first level. go to the top platform and kick some iron boxes. dig in the painting behind it and u get transported somewhere where the mystic melody is.im 99.9% sure

He probably means the first level you have to play as Knuckles, that ruins place with the floating chunks of rock...

Knuckles's Mystic Melody is in the Wild Canyon. u need the shovel claws. Go to the big wind in the middle of the stage to go outside. walk to the lonely statue and climb up the wall to the oval image on the wall and dig inside.
PS: Everyone has a Mystic Melody.
