World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King Message Board  

Not long ago at Blizzcon 2007, the new expansion for the hit game "World of Warcraft" was announced.
[I, of course, knew that the expansion was coming days before it was officially announced, because a German rating website accidentily leaked it...thank you, G4!]
The expansion was named "World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King."
Take that in for a second.
Wrath of the Lich King.
Hm, who is THAT again?
Oh, Arthas.
Hm.

Now it'll hit you.

The expansion opens up 10 more levels to rise up in, new character emotes, looks, and hairstyles, the ability to travel to Northrend, new dungeons with destructable buildings and siege weapons, a new profession known as inscripting (described as 'enchanting for spells'), the new unlockable Death Knight class (If you think Death Knight is awesome, read on) which is able to SUMMON SCOURGE and starts out at level 60, fight Arthas HIMSELF,

And take Frostmourne from his corpse.

Wow.
And guess what? Blizzard has officially stated that Death Knight is but one of the many coming Hero classes.
And that means that there will be more expansions.

Hail Blizzard. After a long period of screw-ups, they're pulling this kind of stuff off. Rock on, Blizzard. Make America proud.

this is going ot be awsome, more places to go, new things to fight.New dance moves, ediable hair, and a new guild option.this is the best so far

and if i remember Warcraft III, Arthas was a Deathkningt himself.
and 1 thing else, why we dont have Necromancers in WoW?
they are really Imba, really really lovely class.

a death knight is the class you get once u hit lvl 80 with awsome powers and more ranged attacks for ur class.

visit the wow site and you will find they just released chapter 3 of the introductions and features on teh WLK page

(and the german website G4 is not german it is international , meaning G4's site is all places , and also it is officialy located in San Francisco)

Yeah, Death Knight is destined to be total pwnage, and WotL is too! (although I have been wrong before XD!)Have to check out the Blizz site for updates tho.

Ok a Death Knight is basically the opposite of a Paladin, evil, corrupted, and summons the dead. to be able to create a Death Knight you must reach level 80, then of course go on a chain of quests. Once you complete the quest you will then be able to create as many Death Knights you want in Character Creation. Oh and by the way the Death Knight isn't going to be total pwnage...Blizzard has clearly stated that they working very hard to balance the Death Knight out with every other class.

anway our guild has already made plans to hold its meetings, raffles and ect at the Inn on the island as shown in the video it along with the other builds and if its not got enough space (would think it would) we have already made more plans to use the court yard

well i would think that if you had to do all that work, get to level 80 and then go on a string of quests, i, at least, would want one pwning class. it should be slightly stronger than the other classes which you do nothing to do to unlock.

i would be ****t if a class that i worked my butt off to get turned out no better than any other class.

am i the only one that thinks like this? 🤔
