Only thing I would say is if you intend to use a trainer with this game.... sometimes the direct-to-drive versions (i.e. steam etc...) wont work with the trainers only the retail versions.
just a thought.

If your truly concerned about the files not working (which is a possibility with steam) and you don't mind spending the gas money to and from the store go ahead and get the disk version. Best play it safe under all circumstances.

A lot of trainers work with Steam, most recently Lost Planet. I will be getting the steam version and have faith CH will deliver a trainer that works for it. It would not make since not too as this game is on a lot of peoples list and it is available from d2d and steam. If it is not working for the digital downloads then I am sure UL will have a CD fix that works for it (I hope, anyway)

We don't intentionally create trainers that do *NOT* work with Steam. However, we also do not buy our games through Steam. The Lost Planet retail has it's updates pushed through Steam and that's why that particular trainer works. Most other games that were downloaded via Steam must have a no-cd fix applied to them before our trainers work, and even then some of them do not. I can tell you that we will NOT be purchasing two different copies of this game to make a trainer that works with Steam. Take that for what it's worth when deciding to purchase through Steam or not. We will have no idea until the game is out whether or not the trainer will ultimately be compatible.

Hi PWizard,
I know the game hasn't been released yet but I was wondering if you had any idea as to when a trainer will be out for Bioshock? I'm not sure if an infinite life/health option would be needed as the game utilises a regeneration system so the player never actually dies but ut would be good to have an infinite items/hacking/plasmid option.
Cheers

i am sure that within a day of it's release we will have something out. we don't have access to the game at any form right now, not even the demo which is slated to be activated at 7pm tonight. we keep you informed on what is coming when we have a copy of the game but for now we can't tell you when things will be released until we can look at the game.
best, Cal

I bought hitman blood money off steam and the good trainers work fine, i.e ages/pizzadox not the ****ty ones that play irritating music and you have to press F1 to get a list of options ¬_¬
