I downloaded a bunch of cool custom maps but there isn't any directions on where and how you add them to the game. I looked for a folder called maps in the games main directory but none exist. Would some kind person explain to me step by step how this is done.

    C:\Documents and Settings\ [your user name] \Application Data\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Maps

is the directory you put the maps in.
no... it's NOT meant to work online in games(don't get yourself banned from the maker and waste your money) ;)

Also please DON'T ask me to email you a copy of a trainer. thanks!(your message will be ignored)

In Windows Explorer (not Internet Explorer) go to Tools menu, then Folder Options, then choose Show hidden folders and files.

Application Data folder will then appear.

Don't put the maps in the Command and Conquer folder in Program Files. It's the wrong place.

in vista appdata is hidden by default, go on windows explorer then click on the organise drop down window, then folder and search options, then click on the view tab then scroll down and check "show hidden files and folders"

also you can get some software called worldbuilder which you can make you own C&C 3 maps, i use this

Wow thanks guys, I managed to find the folder after I posted this. I used the handy search feature in the start menu to make the hidden folder appear and then I made a note of the path and I was able to install the maps in the right place.

You'll probably have to enable custommaps in the gameoptions.
