Can any one help me what do with this guy?Idon't have the fuse,and this "thing" won't let me go down stairs,neither over the bridge.
HELP PLEASE.

Im having the same problem and I die before i can get to the latter down the stairs - heres what a walkthrough says which doesn't help much:

The Half-Life Slime Pit Boss
To kill the boss, go down the ladder to the Vat Control panel (lower area).
Watch for the bosss attack and use the control to move boss from the first vat
to the second vat. When the boss is at the second vat, move down the ladders
to the safe area. Go upstairs to the office (watch for the boss' attack) and
grab the spare fuse in the office. There is a medical box there as well. Head
back out and replace the fuse near the first vat. If the boss' arm is in the
way, spook it to attack you, then run past it. Use the electrolysis probes and
neutralise boss in second vat. Run across the catwalk it occupied to the save
spot.

I quit playing that game at that spot.And i was not very happy becouse of that.

easy as pie..peice of cake..humm ok enought about food unless ocf courseit,s food for thought..ok ok so i,m a smart ass..hee it is..after cut scene just go the open area to the rght of the blob..jacj will say"..this sems like a nice place to hide..then after a few he will say ."i got o get movig'..son he ays that you can go down to the bottom..once ther get close to the console but let the monster try to hit you first this will make him waste his movement..thenpress the button..go back up stairs now you can go on catwalk..go to next ladder and make your way down then go up the stairs.thats the office..get med pack and fuse but be careful hat blob will attack throught the window..noe go back down stairs.and lat him thry to attack yuo this way you draw his tentacle out of thw way..from here go bck to top..put fuse then hit butoon..then blah blah blah..youron your own now..ha ha..tc bro.Mr D...
