omfg the only purple pikmin that exist on pikmin 1 is when they get sprayed by this gas that turns them purple and have a mushroom on their head and they attack olimar there is such thing as purple pikmin on pikmin 2 though

I doubt this cheat even works. It sounds stupid anyway. I mean who wants the evil mushroom pikmin tryin to kill you 24/7.

Those are mushroom pikmin, AKA "zombie pikmin". I'm pretty sure that wasn't what Eric was talking about. You can make pikmin purple with an Action Replay, but only color is affected.
