I love Emo music. I can relate to the songs and sometimes it's good to know that someone else has felt my pain. If you've had it easy I guess you wouldn't like it.
Pfft, what does having it easy do with it? Music is music. It doesn't matter how your life plays out to decide whether or not you like a type of music. That's like saying that I can't enjoy classical music because I didn't live back in the 1800's.
Or is it just that people that think they've had it hard makes them think they like it?
'cause you can't say for one ****ing minute you haven't had it easy. Do you have a house? Food? You obviously have some access to a computer to type this. Go live in Africa for a week with some of the families. You have no idea how ****ing lucky you are.
Very true. People who go about saying "oh my life is a wreck" and all really need to have themselves checked out. If you have food, water, shelter then you're pretty lucky. Plus the added luxury of computers makes your life better. And just to be merely priviledged to hear the music you supposedly "relate to" is also an added accessory to your already very good life. Just because you've had a couple of sad moments in your life doesn't mean you disregard everything and claim your life pathetic. That in itself is the most pathetic thing you can do.
