Ok, so I have Overlord and I went and downloaded the trainer. This is v 1.1 and I run the game with a no cd crack. I have red the trouble shooting guide many times, and I have done many things to try and solve this problem. I have disabled norton, and run the triner from different times and locations. but still every time I press and F key
it goes selecting a spell. Now, when I have the trainer running, AND the game running... it says at the bottom of the trainer please RUN game. even though I am already running it.

Please actually help, not send to another link. I believe this trainer works, I just need help getting there.

I had the same trouble at first. The way I got mine to work was to move the trainer file to the same folder the game is in. Then I start the game, Alt-Tab out of it, start the trainer, then go back to game. Worked every time for me after that. Hope this helps.

It still didnt work... I moved the OverlordTrn into this file c:/programfiles/codemasters/overlord I ran the game, alt tab'd out, ran the Trainer, and no Effect.

I think what it miht be is the fact I am using a no cd crack. I think the trainer is looking for the original overlord, and because it cant find it (I replaced it with the crack) it doesnt seem to register that Overlord is running.

Is this the problem then?

I would have to guess that it has something to do with the NOcd crack. !!

I'm not sure what would be causing your prob, but I can say that it isn't the NoCD crack. I am using that and the trainer works fine. It even says in the description when you go to downlaod it 'WRITTEN FOR THE ORIGINAL (UNPATCHED) AND 1.1 PATCHED VERSION OF THE GAME'

I had the same problem which means you are probably running Vista.... just make sure you right click the trainer and 'Run as Administrator'.

No, Im running Windows XP. and yes, I am aware the trainer works for the unpatched 1.0 and the patched 1.1 I do have the 1.1 patch installed.

I think the trainer will not work with the no cd crack I am using. But nor do I have the game disc..

I am wondering if anyone had read this Link . Also, if there is a readme.txt or .nfo file including trainer take a look at that
