hey i cant seem to get the trainer to work on my game. iv tried it with the original unpatched version and after iv applied the v1.1.1 patch and it still does the same thing - it says cheat activated but there is no effect. any ideas why?

I can assure you that the trainer works fine. Check out the troubleshooting guide as suggested and you'll find your solution. My best guess is that you have antivirus blocking the trainer or you need the no-cd fix.
