i have just installed DX9c but it didn't help... maybe that's the problem that i saved my game and now the game is using that wrong map? i'm afraid that i will have to start it all again.
one day i played for about 5-6 hours and there was no slowing down nor freezeing. there were no other problem during the game.

Damn... I don't know what else it could be... I asked about your PC stats, because i had a PC like yours (1,6GHz, 512 RAM, VideoCard-ATI Radeon) and when i was playing about 1-2 hours, the game starting to getting slow or freeze and graphics messed up because of the minimum requirements. Now i don't have that kind of problems in my new PC. Anyway,if you want, try to unistall-reinstall once again and if nothing happens then start a new game.Sorry i can't help any more... If you have any problems just ask.

i got another question - i downloaded that save editor form cheathappens and i was wondering if it would be possible to extraxt and change that piece of map that is damaged with another one from somebody else. i found that when i open a file world.ds2res in a program called TankViewer i can see all the terrains used in game - but i don't know how to take advantage of it.
if you would have any ideas please let me know - thanks in advance

Unfortunately, i haven't ever tried the SaveGameEditor so i can't help you. Before you try it, make a backup of your saved game (My Documents-->My Game or type "My Game" in windows search to find that folder).
P.S. I don't think that game editor will help... We can use it just to edit your skills

it's me once again - thank you very much for your save's but they didn't work for me, i changed my "My games" folder with yours, started the game but right after seeing Gas Powered Games logo (that movie) the game crashes and "Gathering exception data" window appears and the game exits to Windows. is it possible that it is caused by 2.2 patch? i will try to reinstall the game once again after the weekend and see if it helps.
