Battlefield 2142 Message Board  

I know I should discuss this problem with a support or something but,
Does RAM effect multiplayer at all? My Ping started to jump up to 400~700 in BF2142 Multiplayer besides, myinternet went slow all of a sudden, also my computer starts to make beep noises(sign of overheating) right when I start my computer. I went to Srtest.com and checked, I passed all the specs except RAM I want to know if RAM has anything to do with the multiplayer.

Genuine Intel(R) CPU 3.40GHz
3.40 GHz Performance Rated at 5.10 GHz
1023.5 MB RAM
Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (Build 2600)
NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS (GeForce 8600 GTS)
110.2 GB space.
Game runs fine though, only multiplayer..
