    Warning, spoilers ahead

Just got back from 'Hitman'. Wow, you talk about mixed feelings. As a diehard fan of the games I didn't really know how I was going to react to the movie and seeing 47 on the big screen...and they really get things going after the first scene, it seemed like the story was moving way too fast but with the direction the movie was taking I guess it worked.

A few things I wish they could of incorperated more into the movie was more complicated hits and disguizes for 47. Afterall 47 is the master of deception but they only had him disguized in a couple of short scenes, plus the hits were fairly basic...not much creativity compared to the games.

And finally there's Timothy Olyphant, the man who played one of the best characters ever created in the video game world, Agent 47. My reaction to Olyphant (just like the movie) was mixed at first, especially with his voice, he really sounds nothing like 47...but in the end I felt he nailed the emotionless character very well. Could a better actor of been found?...maybe, but overall I felt Olyphant paid the classic videogame character great respect with his performance...so the Hitman critics who disliked Olyphant from the beginning are purely wrong and should give Olyphant his props for pulling off the character.

Veterans of the Hitman games will notice a lot of 47's fellow cloned brothers throughout the movie, much like in Codename 47 and somewhat in Silent Assassin. In the end they could easily do another one, or hell even a series but it's really going to depend on the reception of the movie at the box office...so if you're a fan of the Hitman games or a dedicated gamer interested in seeing this, go see Hitman this weekend to support the movie and help with it's success.

All in all a great translation of Agent 47 the video game character to Agent 47 the movie character, not perfect...but still very good. So go see Hitman

It looks good, although I think I'm going to see Beowulf first. Not too sure about the quality of the cinematography, but hell, I haven't seen a movie in awhile.

Does anyone know what became of the Splinter Cell movie?

I think it's still 'up in the air'. No plans of filming are set as of yet but I've heard their still working on the script...plus the licensing issue, Tom Clancy owns the rights to SC and I'm not sure he wants the movie made

Also I should've pointed this out, if your underage you shouldn't see Hitman, there's some brief nudity and some pretty violent scenes. I imagine it'll get an R rating in the States anyhow, it was 14A here believe it or not

I just watched 2004's Punisher for the first time from beginning to end since I saw it twice in theatres in 04. I must say that I don't know if there's been a better comic book/movie adaption yet...Tom Jane was perfect for that role. The perfect revenge movie, well...at least until the Max Payne movie is made. I guess that's my nitch really, I'm drawn to more darker characters.

But it bums me out to report that Tom Jane will not be filling the the role of Frank Castle for the second movie due out next year...in my honest opinion, if Tom Jane isn't going to play the Punisher then a second movie shouldn't be made

But those Hollywood c!cksuckers need to keep making money so they've gotten some new guy named 'Ray Stevenson' to play him...the guy's an Irish boy and I'm not so sure he can pull off Frank Castle.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it turns out, I'll probably see it to judge for myself but it pains me to say that they may of killed one of the better comic book characters with this sloppy second movie script...

'The Punisher 2: War Zone' is as of now due out next September, here's to hoping they don't flush the character down the toilet Link

Just got back from Rambo and holy you talk about a gory movie...this is without any doubt one of the most violent movies I've ever seen, everything horrible you can think that happen to a human being takes place in this movie lol.

I was never really a Rambo fan but my buds wanted me to see it with them so I went...the movie was good all around but like I said if your faint at heart to violence or gore then this movie definetly isn't for you. I found it to be a little over the top with its violence and gore but that's what you get with a Rambo movie I guess...the bow and arrow scenes were the best.

A lot of you here are far too young to see it so this post is directed moreso to the older members of CH

Have you seen this yet? What did you think?
