ya i am going to see harry potter next week, and PoC was pretty good, one of the better PoC movies

Jackal, being a big hitman fight as i'm sure you are i'm not getting my hopes up for this movie and I don't you should either. It doesn't look very promising at all based off of the trailers and it doesn't look like it's going to stay true to the games at all...

oh i think the hitman movie is going to suck, of the preview i have seen, i do think they will stick to the story, but the guy playing the hitman will totally mess up everything

Well I made my thoughts known on that...you can't judge something you've yet to see, although (like yourselfs) I doubt they can translate the essence of the unique 47 character into film. But we'll see come October...I hope it's a hit and the movies good despite the flaws already visible (namely Timothy Olyphant playing 47) because (if it fails) it will reflect bad on the games which I or any of the hardcore Hitman fanbase don't want...but then again everyone thought Daniel Craig would suck as Bond, and I think he's proved that he's worthy of the role and shut the critics up...

Bottom line for me is you can't judge a performance you've yet to see so I'm not hanging the Hitman movie or Timothy Olyphant out to dry until I see the film.

I personally think they should of done what George Lucas did to find an actor to play the adult Anakin Skywalker, that is hold a casting call and (in this case) pick the best man who resembles 47. I believe that's what there currently doing with the Splinter Cell movie...

Many fans say Jason Statham would've made a great 47, you know the guy from The Transporter movies...personally I'd be luke warm about him, but (at this point) he's better than Olyphant...

Speaking of movies tonight I whipped out an impactful movie from my movie shelf...it was simply astonishing to watch again, if you haven't seen it you don't know what your missing...without a doubt one of the best war movies I've ever seen. What I'm speaking of is an amazing movie called 'Downfall' or Der Untergang, the movie is a thorough detail of Hitlers last days and the fall of his Third Reich. Many great performances can be seen in the movie but Bruno Ganz was unimaginably real as Adolf Hitler...he looks and acts exactly like him. Simply the best depiction of Hitler ever portrayed.

I'm a big WW2 history guy so I love these kind of movies, you may not but you should still see it, it's quite a performance. I should mention it's in German (meaning subtitles) but it's still easy to follow and watch. I myself kept the subtitles off cause I felt (as I speak German) I wanted to get the rawest feel from the movie. There's a few battle scenes of the fighting in Berlin but most of the movie is dialogue...even so it keeps you hooked, you may find it a bit hard to find but if you go to the major chains like Blockbuster to find the movie you should have no problem.

Man I gotta get back to Germany, I love it there

well what about the movie Splinter cell , is that released or does any1 saw it ?

trying to keep my self distracted till this movie comes out.
