I loved Live Free or Die Hard so much I saw it 8 times in theatres. Let's just say I like the movie so much I live it so to speak.
If you loved the new ones, you'll drop dead in joy for the first three. The new one is definitely the weakest of the bunch.
Jesus, talk about reviving and old subject, I wrote that after I got back from the movie in June of 07. For future use stay with the most current subject, that being the Max Payne movie.
By the way Die Hard With a Vengeance was the best Die Hard
It says "Movie Topic" not "Talk about only the movie Jackal just saw".
Okay, I'll just go to the Halo3 boards and start talking about Halo2...then we'll see who gets It's common sense to stick with the current topic *whatever it is* be it a movie I saw or someone else who brings up a topic...you don't like it, leave the board, simple as that.
Moving on I saw Passchendale today, there was a lot of story and few war scenes but it paid off in the end as it has very good character development. In esscense the movie is a love story in the middle of WWI, the fighting scenes in the end make up for a pretty long, drawn out story...its realistically accurate to the letter though. No bull on the action or the ridiculous way war movies dub the German for the British ****ney accent. It's true to form, being a Canadian with our forefathers blood running strongly through my veins I'd give it my full endorsement to see, for the Canadians here anyhow. Everyone else...pretty well disregard the following.

I don't get the name.
James Bond movies have never been strong on their naming conventions, but they ripped a name from For Your Eyes Only, but included none of that story in the movie.
Quantom of Solace? What's that even supposed to be?
I'll probably go see it, but only because it's the only decent movie out at the moment. I'm not a real Bond fan, but I'll watch anything. What's the plot line?

I don't think I'll see it then. I'm sick of love stories pretending to be war movies.
As for the first part, he just saw the movie so he wanted to talk about it in the movie thread. The topic of the thread is movies. If you have a problem with people talking about movies in the movie thread, then leave. You may have started the thread, but that doesn't mean only you can talk about movies.
all the new bond movies stink. the old ones are amazing though.
I like some of the new ones, but the old ones are classic.
