With X-Men, Spiderman, The Punisher, The Hulk, Hellboy Ironman and a dozen other comic book movies what superhero movie do you think hollywood should do next?
They should make Captain America into a movie.

I'd go to see it if he fights Hitler.

For those that don't know:
Did you notice that at the end of "Iron Man", Nick Fury says he's starting a team. At the end of the Hulk, Tony Stark tells the general that "we're" starting a team.
The team being referred to is the Avengers, of which Captain America is part of.
And, in the Hulk, they spoke of creating a "super soldier" in WWII. That super soldier was Captain America.
There are a couple more superhero movies to be made.
This is all a long way of saying that Captain America will hit the silver screen in 2011-12.

Yeah, but post-WWII Captain America sucks bad.
Do you think that lesser popular heros like Green Lantern or The Flash have a shot at their own movies?
According to IMDB, they're possibly in the works.
The Flash: Link
The Green Lantern: Link
I suppose any super hero movie will do well. There is a craze for them right now--when people think times are bad, they seek escape and superheroes. I mean, look at when Superman came out--1978, during America's darkest hour. And Superman was ridiculously popular for the day, grossing $300 million. The only bigger movie in 1978 was Grease.
An historian named Philip Jenkins wrote a book called "Decade of Nightmares", about the 1970s. If I recall correctly, he wrote that movies took on a greater role in Americans lives because of the horror they were seeing at home and abroad. Thirty years from now, when someone writes a history of the 00's they will probably say the same thing.

The Green Lantern is going to be in the new Justice League movie...
