If/when Lucas makes the new trilogy, make no mistake that he will destroy the EU, every bit of which he personally approved. He's a mad story killer.

I don't like the new storyline either...destroy the dark side? What makes Star Wars so special is its struggle between evil (dark side) and good (light side)...and on a whim he's going to just get rid of it Personally I suscribe to the KotOR take of the Force, you can't destroy the dark side...it's inside a person and can never truly be defeated, only controlled. That's why the Jedi guard their emotions so strongly...it'd be like breaking an emotion or feeling and nobody can do that

He does have a brilliant mind to have created something that's sustained all these years but his new outlook on Star Wars and things in general is all driven by making money...he's got a fairly sized ego and believes everything he does is perfect in Star Wars. That'll be his eventual downfall.

I've only ever seen The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and I didnt like it.

It was kind of weird...

My fave movie is The Prestige I am addicted to this movie for some reason..

The 13th Warrior is the only movie I can watch over and over without getting bored of it.

His movies tend toward that end. I rather like them, myself. They have a certain je ne sais quoi about them.

I won't say they're good, but they have excellent camera work.
