Halo 2 Message Board  STATUS: ON HOLD - This game is currently patching very frequently and/or is early access with few downloads. It is counter-productive to continue updating the trainer under these circumstances. When the title becomes more stable and/or is out of early access, it will be re-evaluated for an updated trainer. Trainer updates for this game may still be released intermittently while in this status depending on our current workload.

Our Halo 2 Trainer is now available and supports RETAIL. Our Halo 2 message board is available to provide feedback on our trainers or cheats.

yes I know and I have seen the halo 3 trailer it does look pretty aswome,

Sorry friend but was this topic a "homage to Halo 3" or what?

Sead that a great example is gothic 3, a supposed "promised land" of both heavy RPGers and thrill action seekers, and at the end it turned out as one of the worst fiascos of JoWood history, so better not jinx it

The ONLY thing I've ever seen in either of them would be an ok story and a good FPS.

I haven't played multiplayer, but I'm pretty much positive that that would be the only reason it sold so much. I can't really see it still being sold today if it weren't on XBL. And I'm pretty sure that SOMEBODY here could agree with me. Right?

Well I'm a few days late but o well? =/ I agree with forty-two the games are really good, yet I think that they wouldn't have sold like they did if it wasn't for the multiplayer and online play.

Well mate i also didnt watch the Stalker film before playing the game, nor did i read stalker comic books or any novels, but i still had a blast.
Actually you gave a perfect example of what im talking about, why would a game rate as a "legend", "fantastic", etc need a series of novels, a tv show, preferably a half a dozen films and a trading card game ( speaking metaphorically ofcourse ) to be elevated from any generic FPS with some "gimmick"?
Why? Because it by itself is simply lacking the means to justify that rating.
Just ask yourself this, would Halo be nearly as successful without "Mr" Bill Gates?
And about my connection, its a DSL 1mb, and it can easily support WoW, F.E.A.R. and Battlefield online, so i realy dont see why would be any trouble here..

PS Why do you presume that i meant other x-box games?
"I can see that you are comparing Halo 2...to games on the Xbox 360"
It is absolutely self evident that PS console series is far superior to X-box in almost every tehnical way (even the price), and counting the fact that Sony doesnt have Microsoft behind them (and its resources)...
By the way if i cant compare halo 1/2 to equivalent games (same year), by what right can you compare halo3 to those games?

    You said it yourself.

"The story is nothing special, graphic inferior to many new games (especially newer console games)"

And it might just be personal opinions. I myself love Halo 2 for the multiplayer (can't remember the last time I played Campaign) yet at the same time I can't wait to finish the fight at the end of September.

I enjoyed reading the Halo novels, yet reading in general is a chore for me.

If you don't like Halo, don't play it anymore.

    Mhmm...<_<

Halo 3 graphics are going to be much better than GoW and other current games today.

Actually halo 3 graphics are inferior to gears of war. Reason being though is gears is only 8 people in one online match in small levels with very little special effects going on so it can manage these graphics. Halo 3 is 16 people hopping up and down throwing grenades and shooting lasers at each other.

Oh and halo isn't a big deal. It's just really popular because the game is so simple it can attract all types of gamers. My dad sucks at all games but is actually decent at halo 1 and 2.

What about campaign? This here is an in-game screen shot of Halo 3 campaign.

And what you said on your second paragraph makes a lot of sense actually.
