Thanks... I think the Verizon bit is a bit weak. Although it has a tad of humour, it isn't really gonna be something that everyones gonna be bowled over with interest.

Here is the completed speech... I think some areas need work though:

Firstly, I would like to swap my life with a quality controller for Ritz Carlton. What these guys do is they go over to a Ritz Carlton hotel, and they basically test the ability and user-friendliness of the hotel. The twist is that these guys get to test everything, and try out everything for FREE. Free food, free hospitality and, in some cases for women, free spa treatment and pampering. And they can act as they like – whether it be an arrogant stuck up person who demands perfection or whether it be someone extremely mentally challenged. The hotel has to be prepared, and these guys help out immensely, thanks to their actions.

Next, I would like to experience a bizarre day in the life of a Verizon technician. Verizon is a telecommunications company based in the USA, and a tech’s job is to troubleshoot electrical problems. Apparently, applying for the post of technician at Verizon is seen as one of the most death-defying things a human being could do as, to quote a site on the InterWeb, “being a Verizon tech is one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. These people deal with electricity all the time and are prone to the occasional highly inconvenient bout of fatal electrocution, unbeknownst to these hapless field ‘fixers’. Electricity has a mind of its own. A fine example would be that two such chaps were not entirely amused by when the aerial bucket that they were held aloft in while they were fixing some fibre-optic cables fell a little too close to a short circuit in the lines. Not only were these two chaps fresh meat in the aerial barbeque scenario, the electricity, soon bored of this two easily cooked overall clad kebabs, then proceeded to travel down the aerial pole, through the truck singing, amongst other things, the eyebrows of the cab driver. Not satisfied, the electric jolt then decided to have a last hurrah by setting all the tires of the truck on fire.” I think it would be rather interesting to have that experience, no?

Richard Branson is next on my list. Some say he is insane, and some say he is without fear. Others best describe him as unorthodox. But these three factors shape Richard Branson into what he is – a brilliant man that never ceases to amaze. I would love to swap lives with him for a day, to experience a lifestyle where you are always thinking four or five steps ahead, in all aspects.

And also he owns every Virgin Megastore in the world, and that’s pretty cool too.

Bryan Singer is a man we know from places like X-Men and Superman Returns, as the director of these epic films. I would love to trade lives with him to just find out what actually makes this guy tick, you know? We’ve all seen his films, but I don’t understand how he makes them so good. Just to get an insight of his mindset would be really something.

Finally, last but not least, Blake Lewis. Some of you guys know who he is, but most of you don’t – he’s this year’s American Idol runner up. Blake Lewis can do what we call “beatboxing” – something like this (*beatbox*). So… yeah. I would love to trade lives with him just to see how he does all the sounds I don’t know, and just to experience his talent for a day.
