you know nothing of how modern warfare is fought.. it isn't just nukes.. there is ground combat.. i know ive been there done that and almost died every day i was there... don't pretend to know what modern warfare is because you have no idea
I love it when people put their foot in their mouth.
I was in the CAF kid, plus I've studied history for years...best know what your talking about before you post
Everything changed after WW2, wars became run by politicians...perfect example- Vietnam.
In my opinion modern combat is
In WW2 you had real fighting...trench warfare, dogfights, etc...it was man to man, fighter to fighter, ship to ship, tank to tank.
Now it's all about which country has the most expensive toys and nukes, bottom line- there really was nothing to fight for after WW2 except a politicians war.
So you're saying that there isn't anymore ground combat?
And how is WWII different than this current war (other than the advanced technology).
I mean, sure...there isn't AS MUCH troop to troop fighting and that is because of the advanced technology. So far approx. 3000 American soldiers have died so far versus the...many thousand in WWII.
Wars today aren't all about nukes...well...using them. Some will say that the whole REASON for going into Iraq was because Saddam had nukes, whether that be the real reason or not.
As a matter of fact...WWII was the first war that used a nuclear weapon, the atom bomb....twice on Japan...remember? That ended WWII...since then...none others that I know about have been used.
My point is that there is still troop to troop battle on the ground...your tanks and dog fights in the skies.
Edit: From what I have seen...COD4 doesn't look all that great actually...I won't buy it...
