Well you have to contract the diesease from a current vampire and wait 3 days untill you become a true vampire, Aslo if you have got so far with the dark brotherhood you will be offerd the dark gift from the vampire leader accept this and the next time you go asleep you will be bitten, again wait 3 days to get the full diesease.

But i do strongley advise against becoming a vampire because there are no real advantages to it and you have to keep up a feeding rotar every day which is quite hard to maintain, if you go out without feeding you will take sun damage which dosent help if you are on a quest and need to speed travel you will not be able to fast travel.

And you can't complete the curing quest if you closed the oblivion gates, because you need to bring bloodgrass to a woman and it grows only in oblivion, but if you saved some of it she won't acsept it.

It's never worth it! There are no advantages to vampirism.
Not only do you have to feed all the time, but the sun hurts you, you look like a monster and its just weird(to say the least) .
Whenever i see a vampire 2 thoughts appear to me:
1.KILL IT! Put it out of its misery!!!
2.Run or you'll get infected.

Mostly its the first one.
And i do what I do for a reason.
The cure is a pain in the &%$&$% to make!(very hard)
And(as I said) it's !NOT! worth it!

Well you get more damage and speed as your vampirism lvl increase and there are some cool powers, so there are some advantages, but the sun damages you more as your vampirism lvl increases, guards will attack you and very few people will talk with you.

that's true but I still say it's never worth it.

Hey it's your desition. I personally liked beeing a vampire.

Yeah, being a vampire was kinda useless to me, too.

I just make a living by killing them, taking their stuff, and selling it. :P
