first do the cheat to get ulimited gold from dorian.then go to rindirs staffs to buy apotheosis.then go to the stables outside of the imperal city.go across the bridge.head south along the trail till u reach vinasil.go in the stone door and go straight and watch out for the holes in the floor or u die keep going straight until u reach UMBRA the freckin woman beast!!!!!!!shoot her with the staff a few times and scoot back while u are doing it.kill her and ull go like HOLY

That staff doesn't appear on every level. Wich level were you when you buied it?

were can i hit umbra with some spells? and do u need a certain lvl to wair the armour
i tried to kill her a few times with noob-ish spells and wen i hit her she comes right to me

She is too strong. Come back to fight her at circa lvl 15 and make sure that you have the Wizards Fury and Fingers of the Mountain spells.

To clarify: Apotheosis is available at all levels; it just costs quite a bit. The easiest way to get it is, alas, by cheating. A good place to cast spells is (assuming you have a high acrobatics skill) is a broken column near the table. Otherwise, Paralysis works wonders for this task. No, you don't have to be a certain level to wear her armor (called "Umbra's Ebony [armor piece]". The sword, being a quest item for Clavicus Vile's quest, weighs nothing and can't be removed from your inventory. She regenerates health very quickly, so never let up on the attack. The traps are half-hearted at best, but still watch out. Side note: Umbra was originally (assuming Morrowind was Umbra's first appearance) a male Orc near Suran wearing a full suit of Orcish Armor. The sword was a 2-hander then, too.
