me too from the last 1 month.
i used to use a black horse but they were too fast to control for me. Plus, they die faster then anvil white horses.
but i usually fasttravel anyway.
(when the location is available(explored)anyway)

I like going with a horce more than fast traveling and you can't fast travel with enemys around, wich are almost always around when you get far enought in the story.
